A day ago Caro took us north for a drive up the coast. It was somewhat like the California coast but much greener. Green with the hillsides and green turquoise of the Pacific looking east. We had some beach time fun with Gayle and Caroline acting like movie stars and I was the photographer. Gayle is all Italian drama and Caro all youthful fun in the sand. The water was pretty cold do some of the drama was real.
Then we left Gisborne and headed to Napier the Art Deco center of New Zealand. Tomorrow stay tuned as we rent bikes and ride to 9 wineries to taste and picnic. Marty is the designated driver but on bikes that won't do us any good. Ha!
Really opossum gifts. Yup they are prized possession down here.
