Caroline, Family, and Gisborne

We visited Caroline's birth home which is on a sheep and cattle farm. Really interesting. We got to meet Caro's brother, his wife and son and one of their two daughters. Really nice traditional farm family.  It was a big day on the farm as they were separating the ewes from their babies. Plus they were marking some older ewes that had worn or bad teeth to be sold for slaughter. So you can imagine their was lots of baaing from the ewes about their lambs and others were lamenting not brushing their teeth.

That evening we had dinner with Caro and her parents. Great meal and just as good talks. I am thinking another down under High Point of our trip. As we drove down bags of large perfect avocados were only $3.  Strawberries are just coming in season, spring has fully sprung.

For those who know Caroline, she is a "jack of all trades" nurse and is loving her job.  She has in my opinion one of those personalities that could bring a little lightness, a smile, even to those who are suffering.

How is your teeth my dear?

Neighbors ewe snuck in with the mob as part of the muster.

Photos around the farm. Beautiful!

The old family home. Perfect spot for a spot of tea and a biscuit.
