On our way down we drove through acres of farmlands filled with sheep, cows, and domesticated deers. Venison is big business here. The Catlins are well known for fierce winter storms and bone shattering winds that come unabated from Antarctica. Take a look at the trees below to see the effects. Also while at the shoreline, we walked around a petrified palm forest. I put one photo of a palm log.
